The adhesion I stopped worrying about
I switched my whole base station to this and my lifting complaints basically went away. As long as I dehydrate and cap the free edge, clients are coming back at three weeks with the base still locked down. It goes on thin and self-levels, so I am not fighting pooling at the cuticle. Being HEMA-free is the real reason I made the change though. A couple of my regulars used to get that stinging heat cure feeling and they do not anymore.

I run a small studio and I have three or four clients who reacted to our old base with redness around the sidewalls. Moving to a HEMA-free and TPO-free base made a real difference for them and I feel better about what I am putting on their nails. Bond strength has been solid across a full month of appointments. Nothing dramatic to report, which is exactly what you want from a base coat.

My first set I applied it too heavy and got a little shrinkage at the edges. Second time I wiped the brush almost dry and capped the tips, and it held for two and a half weeks with zero lifting on my thumbs, which are usually the first to go. So the product is very good, it just rewards a light hand. No smell or burning under my lamp, which I appreciate as someone doing this at my kitchen table.
